A friend is having problems emailing pictures, everytime she tries to send a picture it tells he the file is more than 256kb's and would she like to split the picture up to send and then when someone recieves the picture it is broken down in to various emails containing .dat files.
She can recieve pictures fine, just carnt send them.
Anyone know of a solution?

from horses mouth:

"Attachment size limitations
Outlook does not impose any size limit on attachments."

so I'm a bit lost on this,
I really can't see why MS would impose a 256K size limit on its products, so the problem must lie elsewhere.

This isn't a problem with a limit on the recipient's mailbox is it ?
Can you send pics to her friends OK ?

(clutching at straws)
The attachment is put into the temp file before being sent, try emptying it, or relocating it.

there are setable limits in MS OWA, but that's a different issue,
and there is an outlook plugin that can limit attachment size, but that's all I can find. sorry.
