Embarrassing Gamer Confessions

Exactly the same as me, I sit there and don't have the effort to actually play a game!

Can i join that club, recently bought another load of recent games. Now sitting here on my day off staring at the forums with little to no will to play.

Yet when i do play i enjoy it.

In fact i think i talk about games far more than i play them.

Haven't tried NV but I've tried Fallout 3 about half a dozen times. I get to Megaton and get terminally bored and stop playing.

Yup, i adored Oblivion and i thought this was just going to be more of the same in a different setting, the problem is a didn't like the setting

Never managed more than an hour of Skyrim, it bores me to tears.
Never played a Final Fantasy game
Find all MGS games boring, i want to play a game otherwise i'd whack a bluray on if i wanted to watch a film.

I don't think people understand the thread title, most of these aren't embarrassing, they're just people talking about how much they spend and what games they like or don't like

Use to spend most of the night, every night playing Quake 2 duel on Wireplay. Was soo addicted to duel, it wasn't even funny lol. Played in quite a few tournaments, both online and at lans, at a fairly high level.

Did you play under the alias Widowmaker?
There's a few ex-Wireplay Q2'ers on here - me included!
Awww, those were the days. I spent a fortune on that game (monthly bills were sometimes in excess of a couple hundred quid!) - back when a decent connection mean ISDN and/or paying per minute!

While playing Skyrim, I got married (in-game). When I took my wife upstairs to our bedroom, we found Lydia sitting there waiting for me. Now that was embarassing! So embarrassing that I had to kill the wife AND Lydia. They had good loot though so it was worth it.

I quit playing Skyrim because I lost Lydia. She was holding loads of uber gear for me and not even the console commands could bring her back before me. Total rage quit. So I never finished it.

To be honest I wasn't enjoying it by this point anyway, nowhere near as good as Oblivion or even F3 for me.

Got out the multigun with heal tool on Arma3 epoch, accidentally switched to my lynx and shot my mate in the face with a .50 APDS round at about 2metres. :)
he had to run 11km back lol
