Embedded WMV's are purple

For some reason, over the last two days if I try to watch say the BBC news on their website the actual video is purple. You can see the video behind the purple but it's very much unwatchable.

What makes it bizarre is that nothing has been added to Firefox, nothing has been installed that could interfere with the codecs or whatever is used to play the embedded WMV files.

I can still play WMV's perfectly fine via Winamp but just not if they're embedded into websites using WMP.

Have you got winodws media player 10 or higher?

got the latest wmp plugin for firefox? assuming you're using wmp11 that is.....

Yeah, WMP11 and the latest Firefox plug in. What's weird is that this has only started happening in the last couple of days, even though nothing has changed.

This is what it looks like when trying to watch a BBC feed, but it's like this with all embedded media.

It also happens if I switch to using the RealPlayer plugin for the BBC feeds too.
