EMBRACE - World At Your Feet Out Today

It's pants, all of the current footy songs are pants. The only one that stands a vague chance of being sung by fans is the badly re-worded Tony Christie Amarillo song because it's the only one easy enough to sing on the terraces/in a pub etc.
 
I won't be buying the single but I quite like Embrace's new stuff, think the album might be on the cards.
 
The single is terrible imo so won't be buying it.
Most of the football songs out this summer are pretty poor :/ Bet the fans just sing Three Lions (or at least the chorus of it) at the matches.
 
Didn't like it at first but it has grown on me. Was good at Old Trafford on Saturday as they played it whilst the players walked round the pitch thanking the fans. Really like the Hurry Up England one though that JohhnyG linked to :D
 
It's a horrible song, there's not even a lyric or hook you can use as a chant.

Vindaloo, now that was a footie song.
 
I never get why the FA always sanctions some band to produce an England song who then proceed to make a boring normal tune which no one will sing or bother about during the actual world cup! This tune dont even mention anything about England or the world cup!

Three Lions > * tbh, If they re-released it with new Germany lyrics i'd buy it :o whereas Im not buying any of the new lot.

I like it, but then I like the original.
I'm not saying it's in the same league as the classics, as it isn't, but it's better than the other drivel this time round:)

I much prefer the Embrace song tbh. In fact, if the ones played on the radio this morning are anything like indicative of the contenders then I'm not in the least bit surprised the Embrace one was chosen.

I can't stand the Embrace one as a football song, it doesn't stir me, that's all I ask:)
 
Really really poor attempt at a football song.

I'm not sure how they got selected, as i think they really are quite a poor band. Have you seen them live??!! he cant sing at all! :rolleyes: its quite embarressing to watch tbh.
