Just before Christmas, the TV is about to die. This is a crisis, because it's amazingly useful with the children. The switch, TV - so much uses that darned TV.

What would you replace it with, in the 30-40 inch range? I've been happy with 28 inches for the last decade, but I've been outvoted and the replacement is going to be bigger. Any suggestions??

Hope you signed a prenuptial
Pffft :)

Price range?

I wilds go for a bigger TV, and the LG oleds are generally considered the best.
Price range is 200-600ish, as needed. I prefer smaller because I don't believe you should fill all the space with screen?

Oleds and children are not a great combo atleast in my household where we have had to replace the tv twice in 3 years due to broken screens.
Agreed - prefer something a little more... replacable? I'm going to wince when it's replaced, because it costs more than 30p. No point making it worse than it has to be?

Just get a 43" Hisense for under £300
That's what the wife suggested as a first option
my mums tv packed up so got her one of these Toshiba 32WK3C63DB for £189 ... well happy with it ;)
I'd be happy with that, but the wife wants more. Bigger. Inches and inches more!
