Emirates Cable Car advice

I'm planning on riding the new Emirates cable car in London. What advice do you have? I guess I need a polariser filter to get a good image through glass? I would need to experiment with exposure compensation as so much sky could cause the meter to render the foreground too dark? Lastly I would need to use the highest aperture to increase depth of field so put it into AP mode and let the camera select the appropriate shutter speed?
 
Thats a great shot! Might need to buy some ND filters to help with the sky.

If I start off with >f7 and see what the camera suggests.
