I want to take advantage of the mattress deals that are on atm. Both of these are pretty much half price, but I cannot decide which one. Does anyone have any experience with either and any problems they had please? Also, any alternatives I have missed out with good deals on? I have an odd bed size of small double.
 
Neither both are overpriced.

Bought this one first time around and was very comfortable, only replaced it due to wanting a bigger bed.

Then replaced it with this which again is very comfortable.

Overpriced at half price?
 
We bought an Emma Premium and it works well for us. Had it no longer than 6 months so far.

I was also tempted by the Tempur mattress after trying it at Dreams. I figured we could buy a Tempur for 3K and keep it 10 years, or if I bought an Emma for 2 years at £600, it’s no more expensive.

If I get longer than 2 years, then great.
 
I think there is a big thread on this forum about mattresses which would be worth a look.

The issue with memory foam is that as it moulds to the body it can be sweaty.

One thing with buying pocket sprung is the mattresses can be very heavy and this can be inconvenient.

Have you thought about a trip to your local bed superstore? Mattresses are one of those things it's best to try, you can always buy online afterwards.

A lot of it comes down to personal preference. My view is that, despite having some springs in, both of these are basically squashy foam mattresses, which are very different from a medium to firm pocket sprung mattress. You can see how squashy they are from the videos, and my firm pocket sprung mattress does not do that. It depends what you find comfortable. With both these mattresses I believe you get a trial period anyway.
