Thinking of buying my mum a big button phone and binning her tiny button basic mobile. Not that she uses it much, but still. She's 84, and has trouble with the ol' eyesight. What do you reckon to this Emporia? Looks quite nice doesn't it.

Can she put her virgin PAYG sim card into it on which she still has a few quid credit left, or do you think it'll be locked to vodafone?

I suppose it would do the job for her, yes.

I imagine it will be locked to Vodafone but I'm not 100%.

Most are back to being locked, especially in Tesco and supermarkets generally.
Best to ask.

just go on rainforest and do a search for big button mobile phones.... there's plenty on there and they're cheaper too. Should be unlocked as well so removes any uncertainty

Yeah, I'll do that. Just so happens my mum topped up her virgin mobile PAYG with £20 today, dammit. So I need to find this phone unlocked already preferably or I'll just have to get it unlocked.

Edit: you're right, there's tons of them on the forest at great prices.
