Are you sitting comfortably, then I'll begin. before i start please excuse the small print this is one of the faults. i have lost the entire contents of my hardrive,(D drive) it happened about a fortnight ago. i tried a website and i couldn't get on it
i tried others the same result. I went on to my PC and looked at my hardrives c/drive was fine d/drive nothing. so i started checking apps, the main one Settings it's gone search option gone documents/ downloads/ photos' all gone the AT sign gone i have since got that back by googling it and now press shift and 2. I GO TO COMMAND PROMPT (ANOTHER GOOGLE) but it say's you do not have administration permission i have been on other forums and the ask me to run minitoolbx/ sfc/scannow .and other things but of course
i cant get on them so i can't send them logs. i have been at this for two weeks now and i am very frustrated, i have disconnected my drives one at a time but nothing changes . it's as though my pc wont recognize my hardrive I don't know how to get my apps back.
i can go to a site (eg)emails, put a shortcut on my desktop and it is fine. including yours overclockers but when i shut my pc down then turn it back on they have gone. no matter where i put them on the screen they all appeared on the left hand side.
i even have apps on that i have never used in my life. GOOGLE DOCS/ GOOGLE SHEETS/ GOOGLE??? I CAN'T REMBER THE THIRD ONE but i haven't put them on . i need help badly i don't know what to do next can anyone help.
my pc is just a shop bought one it as windows 10 , it as a ASROCK motherboard.anymore details i wll have to get them off the specs if i can get on them.
