Question for @BigBoy who seems like a super tech engineer type person:-)

I'm wondering if I could build an emulator and connect it to Kraken?

Basically I don't want a smart meter in my house so I've set up cameras next to my analogue meters and pull a bitmap image once a day. An MML analyses the pictures to extract the meter digits and then a script creates an email and automatically sends an email to Octopus support with my readings.

Seems to work fine, but wondering how I could squirt them the same data via DDC?

Thoughts?

Ta:-)

not possible via DCC, the network is limited access, specifically licenced devices and so on. like your setup though that's quite clever :)

@iankilby why exactly don't you want a smart meter in your house?

It sounds like you want the benefits of daily metering and have gone to quite some lengths to get there, rather than have the expense come out of your pocket get your supplier to pay for it.
