emulator front end software?

looking for a solution for multiple emulators on a single system to sling under the tv in the living room,

vaguely remember there was a thread on here about a setup by some american guy (cant find the thread search skills fail me) but for the life of me cant remember the name of the front end he was using but it was slick and i want to have a look at it.
