Enable line-out port? (G1 Sniper M5)

Does anyone know how / where to enable the line-out port on this board? I'm trying to connect my pc to my (analogue) stereo amp via a 3.5mm jack to phono cable (which I've tested directly with my phone so cable and amp are fine).

Line-out doesn't appear alongside the other sound devices:

I'm running Windows 8.1 and have the latest SoundBlaster Recon3di drivers installed. Speaker front out, Line In/Mic both work. No signal from line-out as if it's disabled or not selected somewhere?

Nevermind, sorted it - I've been using headphones connected to front-speaker out, so I had "headphones" selected in the soundblaster pro studio setup. Switching to "Speakers" disabled the front-speaker out channel and enabled line-out? It also appears to be under the "Recording" tab as a "What U Hear" device?

Last thing - the volume controls in windows are changing the volume, shouldn't line-out be a standard level which you volume control on the amp side?
