Enabling DX12 on Hitman (2016) Epic Store?

Hitman (2016) is currently free on epic, but it seems the Epic version doesn't support DX12. Does anyone know of a way to enable it? Or perhaps the game doesn't even benefit from DX12.

NOTE: we did not make an error here. Nvidia cards do not seem to profit from DX12 in this benchmark scene, while AMD cards get huge performance improvements.

the pre-game setting menu appears to be missing. and it's not an option in-game.

Well in the end I decided to get both Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2 on steam, so I could play the former's levels on Hitman 2. Games runs so much better in Hitman 2.
