right as the title says im trying to enable full screen flash on multi monitors(meaning i can use 1 while the other plays full screen)

i quickly came accross a solution but i cant even get started because in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash i do not have NPSWF32.dll

the fix involves replacing or editing that dll but as i say its not there at all.

im running windows 7 x64 and have flash player 10.0.42.34

any help would be much appreciated.

don't know the answer to your problem i'm afriad, but just for reference I have the dll you are talking about, version 10.0.32.18. Are you using a standalone adobe flash player? (I'm not familiar with flash too much), I just have the flash plugins for IE and firefox so the dll must have been installed with one of those, maybe try updating or uninstalling/reinstalling flash plugins may help you get the dll.

If you use Firefox navigate to about:plugins and check the filename field under 'Shockwave Flash'.

I have the file however i don't have the stand alone version, im trying to follow that video now too, however i have no idea how to use a hexeditor, i've opened the .dll with HxD and i can't for the life of me figure out what or where anything is.

You can get a pre-hacked versions from here.

If you want to use HxD (backup first):

  1. Open the DLL.
  2. Go to Search > Goto (CTRL+G).
  3. Offset: 13797B (hex) and choose 'Offset relative to begin'.
  4. Notice where your cursor is and change the 74 to EB by typing over it.
  5. Save the file.

Ended up using the pre-hacked version, tried using HxD but no joy, thanks again.
