Hi Guys,

Still fairly new to Macs so started to make use of iCal this weekend.
I want to publish my calendar but can't be doing with .Mac or any third party malarky so I've enabled web sharing and am trying to enable WebDav.

Does anyone have any tips on doing this on Leopard?
I'm following a guide online (linked below) but the first command brings me to a different screen to what I'm expecting.
Link: http://www.gregwestin.com/webdav_for_ical.php

I'm starting in Terminal and typing the command as below:

This brings up:

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Im used to IIS so not got any Apache experience (or Terminal for that matter!)

Thanks

Thanks :)

Unfortunately the rest of the guide appears to refer to what I presume is a previous version of Apache too.

The lines below don't exist in the config file:
#LoadModule digest_module libexec/httpd/mod_digest.so
#LoadModule dav_module libexec/httpd/libdav.so, #AddModule mod_digest.c
#AddModule mod_dav.c

Can I presume that these elements are covered elsewhere and the default state is enabled or is that too much to hope for? :p

Thanks for your help so far!

I found the instructions below for Leopard but am struggling a bit :(
http://forums.macosxhints.com/showpost.php?p=424655&postcount=5

I've followed this all to the letter (substituting my own directories) but I'm getting a forbidden message when I access the directory at http://localhost/ical

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /ical on this server.

I was under the impression it should be prompting me for the credentials I specified in the .htpassword file but it isn't. Setting the location as a server in iCal with the credentials I specified fails too.

I've spent far too long on this now but I refuse to give up! :p

Any more help would be great.

Cheers
