Encoding 3GP for 6680 - Help Please.

Anybody know the right settings for converting video files into 3gp for a Nokia 6680?

I'm using Xilisoft 3GP video convertor software to do the job but don't know what res size, video + audio bit rate's etc. that the 6680 can handle (maximum).

doesn't nokia have its on multimedia converter? would be useful getting that

have a poke around the forum nokia site.

try using the nokia multimedia converter tbh, has worked great for me in the past

I've got the Nokia Multimedia convertor but it's no what software I use but what the maximum detail the 6680 can handle.

Nokia's own tool is outdated anyway (November 2003) and can't handle most of the files I want to convert. The software I have now gives much more options for detail etc. so I want to get the best conversion possible that the 6680 will be able to play.

If you're looking for other options, try SmartMovie. It plays DivX and Xvid, and comes with its own converter.

theres a thing called 3gp converter (literally) and you can choose all the bitrates and resolutions etc, quite handy.

after a bit of googling it appears the best thing is to turn vid bitrate an audio to the highest that it allows u to, an screen res at 176 x 208, hope this helps

I just needed to know the spec's for playback of the 3gp files
