Encoding with plex..........q6600 or a i530 over clocked

I have both lying around so wanted to try and play around with a plex server........

Are those cpus up to the job or would i be better off forking out for something like a mini itx 1150 board and stick a g2358 pentium thing.?

Got one of those at the moment at 4.2! on stock lol

I have a Core 2 Duo E8400, 3ghz in my plex server. Encodes everything with no problems. Streaming 1080p videos is flawless.

I'm using an HP N54 microserver as my plex server and that only has a 2.2GHz AMD Turion chip and that just about copes with streaming my bluray rips to my tablet so I think either of those will be more than fine.
