Hello,

I'm looking for a Truecrypt alternative that could possibly work with Android and Ubuntu . I have looked at AESCrypt but i am not sold on it. Any ideas?

No critical vulnerability has been found in truecrypt yet, the audit is still ongoing.

until something is found, it's safe to carry on using it.

You do realise Truecrypt no longer exists unless you happen to have an old installable? The version available now just allows you to unencrypt partitions and the developers advise finding other software?

Old versions are still available from trusted sources.

The backstory is the devs no longer wanted to work on truecrypt, full disk encryption doesn't work with GPT partitions for instance, easier for them to push people off using it than have people complaining something didnt work.
