I’m in the market for a new mouse.

Was set on Superlight 2 for a while, but the XM2W popped on my radar.

My question is: because it is a new mouse, is the stock levels low atm? Is it getting snapped up quickly?

Probably snapped up quickly. The XM series are popular mice, for good reason. I had the XM2we and it was great.

I'd rather the XM2 than a Superlight anyway. Though just ordered myself the new Pulsar Feinmann F01 Magnesium as a birthday treat to myself (and only 5000 made worldwide) and will likely call it a day there as far as gaming mice go :D

Though if you want amazing performance and quality without breaking the bank then currently the DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is £88 and is exceptionally good, lighter than most other gaming mice, surface coating that feels so nice, rigid for both palm and claw grip etc.

The black is in stock at OcUK atm, but would prefer a white one.

Personally not a fan of skeleton mouse, although I've never used one. I palm grip so prefer a full surface big butt to rest on.

I've done a heck of a lot of research recently, and it is probably down to XM2w or Lamzu Maya X. But actually did not look into a magnesium alloy mice, is there any recommendations for holeless magnesium?

Budget about £120, I'll be using it everyday for at least 5 years, i'll get my money's worth out of it. I can up the budget for a right spec magnesium metal mouse but will not go for something like a full price Viper V3 pro, as I don't think it is worth the cost of 60% over the above 2.

There's quite a lot in the magnesium space, I've had holey mice before but with holed sides which I don't like, this pulsar has solid sides and your palm rarely touches the top so all good for me.

I like the charging stand though and the design, it's kinda unique with solid sides and the limited edition nature makes it a collectors item too so satisfied with that.

Fazer have the limited edition magnetism out too though I'm not a huge fan of it's price.

I guess magnesium really makes sense with holey mouses as they needed for more rigidity. I dunno if I wanna spend more time looking up another rabbit hole.

Took me a month of showering reviews to narrow down to XM2w or Maya X.
