This forum post gives word that the ETQW demo will be out on 10th September, so we can all say how disappointed we are with it all over again.
Well, maybe the demo will change some minds. Here's hoping...

Edit: Also, good to see we're getting the jump on the Americans for once.

I was really disappointed with this... having played Wolf:ET extensively in the past I had high hopes for this, but after playing both betas I personally found the game is more like a faster version of BF2. I'm really not keen on huge maps, means a lot of running about or vehicle usage which I feel detracts from the fun stuff (gunning people down! :p). The gunfights didn't feel that great either though, lol. Having said that, the game will no doubt appeal to a lot of people, just probably not most of the RTCW or Wolf:ET players which is a shame. Roll on RTCW2? :)

I was very disapointed with this, and I was the one who pre-ordered it and hyped it up to hell. After playing the beta I was let down greatly.

I am hoping for some half decent maps personally, if they include the ones in the betas fine, but I would like some different maps to get more of a feel of things, but from the betas, the game is solid but unspectacular in my opinion.

I'm not even going to waste my bandwidth on it, ill see what some of you guys say about it but my hopes ain't high for it being much better than the beta.

Beta 2 was a little better and more refined than Beta 1 but I will not be buying this game not so much for the lack in the game itself but because of the playing habits of Quake players - I can't stand bunnyhoppers and you know the servers are going to be full of them.

Just want to check the accepted definition of bunnyhopping - as far as I know it started meaning jumping in quick succession in order to speed yourself up, but it also seems to now mean jumping around all over the place simply to avoid attack (and not speeding up)...which one is usually meant?

Played RTCW MP/ET for years, did't like this one bit they've killed the franchise as far as I am concerned. :(

Just another BF1942 clone now.

I really enjoyed the betas..until the open beta came around and killed the player population for the closed beta servers :/

I do like the game but I'm not sure if I've got time or desire to play it much at the moment.
