Octopus just put the Go rate down, now putting it up again.

Think I'm going to jump ship to EDF, looks like it'll save us at least £150 a year.

is that a fix, because if not is it not likely EDF will increase prices too?

Today I'm paying 1.25p a mile but I'll be paying 1.6p a mile, I don't know how I'll afford on a pension.

I was on Go, which was variable. So it dipped to 6.5p overnight for all of 3 weeks.

12M with EDF will be fixed. And it's a longer overnight cheap rate, occasionally the car didn't charge fully in the 5-hour Octopus window. This was especially annoying as we have a V2H charger.

I'll be moved from old tracker to the new one next month, similar standing charge, electric is 1-2p more which isn't too bad but gas looks to be about 1p more which is quite a jump when its 5-6p. Until March its nearly always been under the cap so still hoping to ride it out, especially with gas usage dropping quickly now the heating is hardly on. The last two weeks gas has been back under the cap on the old tracker tariff.
