Enermax Galaxy 850w Modular

Hi all,
Just bought the above and was very surprised to see a bunch of cables running out of the back as well as the modular connections?

I thought that you just connected the modular ones u required, now its got twice as many cables as my previous PSU

Is there any way i can open up the PSU and remove the fitted cables that i dont need?

Do not open a PSU. They retain charge after they have been unplugged.

I think the only compulsory cables are the 24 pin, 4 pin and 8 pin?

not to sure whats coming out of mine, but i'm gonna have a look later.

Has anybody ever removed cables from the back of a PSU?
