Enermax LiqTech II TR4 240 RGB CPU Water Cooler - 240mm

I bought this back in April from OCUK. Given the recent media coverage of this TR4 cooler having a serious design flaw, causing gunk to appear inside the cold plate, how can I find out if the cooler I bought is going to fail like all the others from this company?

Well when the cpu hits the limits it will power down. I saw this video it looks nasty how did they mess up all the Corsair AIO when cut open look like new.

If i had one, I would just email them and demand a refund. But sadly someone is out of a job over this i can imagine thier anxiety looking at the massive mess a small mistake can do. No one now will ever buy a enermax AIO.

It's especially sad because the cooler itself is actually really good. It was a great choice because Threadripper doesn't really have many good dedicated coolers.

Its weird to think this is still happening with a new product I recently took apart my nearly 10 year old corsair H100 as it had lost a fair amount of fluid over the years and was surprised that I found no build up of gunk or corrosion on the cold plate at all flushed it and then refilled the loop. So if corsair can get a product to last 10 years nearly with no gunk build up enermax a certainly getting something majorly wrong.
