Hi all erm im having problems with my pc and been told it might be my (Enermax Noisemaker 485w (PSU) anyone know how i can check if its fautly ?

Try another PSU around if you have one, do some diagnostics checks

Take out different components aswell.

I dont know muvh about computers, but if my PSU had a fault could it effect games and fps etc, and what diagnostics checks can i do, i have took 1 stick of 1gig ram out and disconnected my slave hd.

Im struggling to play games like world of warcraft and call of duty were my fps drops right down, and some ppl say it could be my psu but i dont have a clue. !

Lol...

Looking at your graphics card, that's your problem.
I had one of those before, couldn't really play anything!

It's definately not down to your PSU, because, if the problem was your PSU, you'd get even worse problems, believe me.

So I suggest; get a new graphics card, OR, either change the settings in World of Worldcraft for graphics quality to lower settings etc, and lower resolutions. You may need to do that for other games.

Yeah but ive never had this problem before since i built the system and if it was my card matey surly i would have had this problem from start off, but its been great for 8months now and now get all this problems with fps. :confused:

Hmm...

Well, it may be some dust in your PC or something :s

Could you maybe open up your PC Case and take a look? Take some time removing any dust etc. Also take out your graphics card and replace it again, check it's connected properly, and do the same for any other components.

Well this tuedays i stripped system down, took sound card, graph card, ram all out and got the hoover in there and cleaned what little dust there was, and then put everythink back together, but with the graph card i thought it may be overheating so took fan off and put new thermal paste on and back together and then i did a complete format and reinstall of windows and games and still no change get low fps in wow when i used to get 60 easy, and drops to 7fps and as for callx of duty i used to get 125 easy but drops to 50, so i really dont have a clue, i could understand if i was crashing a lot or having error messages but nothing so im totaly lost and confused, :confused:
