enermax PSU fan question

hi i have just bought a new enemax 1000W psu, when i play games the fans on the psu kick in full throttle and make a right noise.
is this normal for this make of psu is this just a safey feature when under load?

With that spec (sig) the definitely spinning up under load BUT shouldn't be a concern. Does the air exhausted feel hot?

yes when playing games and the psu fans kick in its all hot air comming out

Then the PSU is just working hard & as long as its stable i.e. not crashing/BSOD/lock-ups/etc (could also monitor voltages using e.g. SpeedFan) then no need for concern. Or is the noise really disturbing you?
