What's the deal with Enermax these days? Are they still going strong and how do they rank?
Seven years ago I purchased an Enermax Infinity 720W. I had no problems with it for the two years I had it when I built my first PC so was thinking of buying another up-to-date Enermax.
Roll on to 2015 and I can't really find many reviews, good or bad to say about the Enermax company as a whole, not just the PSUs.
I'm wondering if their PSU's are reliable and well-built or maybe things have changed and quality control is not what it used to be now they are made in China.
Years ago, they had their own forum but that seems to have ceased. I also learnt that years ago, Enermax made their own PSUs but that's no longer the case and hasn't been for a while although they still do the research and development.
They no longer have UK representatives where you could send your PSU back should it develop a fault. Now you have to send it to Germany although I'm not 100% on that, it's something I came across on the net.
