Hi Guys

I need some advice, I have been in a role for 4 years and was originally hired as a front end focused wed specialists with the current requirements set out in the job spec below when interviewed and hired,

In the last year my role has slowly morphed into a 75% back-end php heavy role that I have little experience or interest in, I have spoken to my managers about this and simply put their feeling is skill-up or resign, anyone had this experience? where do I stand in terms of rights?

cheers

LEARN ...

As a full stack developer, you are way more marketable. You've been handed an opportunity on a plate to add to your skillset - take it up.

yes that's one option, not sure I want to be a full stack dev, I have always been a design led front-ender but you make a good point, I am effectively now a full stack dev now anyway.
