Engine Mount or Drop Links?

Hi, I've noticed a slight knocking coming from the front Drivers side of my S40 only happens when going over rough/bumpy roads!

What do you think is the most likely the cause?

Is this an easy fix for myself also?

Pointless buying drop links on the Sayso of a few forum members to only find out it was a top mount or a suspension bush.

All cars are restricted for space when it comes to cutting off drop links, because they are under the wheelarches.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make.
