Engine oil change

Change engine oil warning message has just come on the dashboard. I've checked and the computer says the engine oil life is at 3%.

I have the car booked in for a major service in two weeks but in between then and now I'll probably need to do about 500 to 600 miles, 400 of which will be done this weekend.

Would I be doing any damage by waiting a couple of weeks before its changed or should I get this done ASAP?

It'll be fine as long as there's enough oil in the car. It doesn't suddenly go bad after x time.

What car is it? How long since last oil change (time and mileage).

Good to hear. Insignia petrol, 1 year and roughly 16k miles since last oil change. Will double check the level tomorrow
