Engine wobble & vibrations on idle

Hey.

My MPS has a rough idle and also a wobble that's felt when revving between 1500&3000 rpm.

MPG has also gone down a bit.

So far I've tried:
New spark plugs, gapped correctly.
Set of coil plugs, newer revision.
Ran 4 tanks of VPower through. (Always ran on momentum99 anyway).
Checked intake for unmetered air
Checked boost pipes, no leaks.
No exhaust leaks.
O2 sensor seems to have no issues when looking at data logs.
MAF sensor is clean.

Really struggling to find a reason for this.

I haven't recently had a solid flywheel with a new clutch fitted, but this issue wasn't apparent afterwards until probably 500+ miles later.

Using ForScan, running a misfire test, it shows 2 counts of missfire on two cylinders. But, that's over a 3 hour drive... So nothing to really mention.

No sure what to try next.

Is it actually a rough idle as in hunting around the revs, or does the car just "feel" like it's got a rough idle?

If the latter, could it be a failing/failed engine mount?

Had 2 issues on my previous 208gti that resulted in similar symptoms at times.

If it is actually proper rough it could be high pressure fuel pump failing.

My engine ended up dying and had cracked cylinders leaking. This also made the car rough at lower RPM

Hope it’s not either of these things for you as they aren’t cheap fixes.

Edit - just to add, my engine managemt light came on most of the time for them issues (but not always).

I have an uprated rear engine mount.
But the top driver's side may be suspect.

I've placed an order for driver's side engine mount, it's a HardRace uprated one. So hoohopefu will help

I will get the mounts off and check them over.

I have a new bush for the rear mount anyway, so will shove that on to refresh it. And change the drivers sidedriver's side top mount for an uprated on.

I'm going to get some vibrations, but if that also fixes the other issue. Bargain.

Did the car originally have a DMF? If you replaced it with solid flywheel then wobbles and vibrations are pretty much par for the course.

What rating did you go with? i went wiht the nigh on solid JBR ones, nice and vibey lol

Its perfectly plausible you didn't notice it for a couple of hundred miles. It does also meet your scenario and symptoms.

I wouldn't expect the level I'm seeing though. I have also been in other MPS' which have the same flywheel / clutch combo. No rough idle or wobbles in the rev range.
