Actually its not an April fool. It was announced a few days ago that UE3 is going to run on HTML 5.

Rather tellingly, youtube resolution max is 360P and in windowed mode.

I looked at this emscripten and it does what it said in the video, C++ into Javascript. UE3 (like all Unreal Engines I think) is written in C++. Bad time to make an announcement though!
