Hi guys, has anyone learnt to use CATIA by doing a course outside of university or learnt it by themselves?
I've been speaking to people about getting an engineering job and actually using my degree but it turns out a lot of the design offices here in Prague require some knowledge of CATIA. I have a reasonable knowledge of AutoCAD, Pro/Engineer, COSMOS/M, Pro/Mechanica Structure & Motion and MathCAD from university but they didn't teach you CATIA which seems to be what everyone uses
I've seen some DVD based courses from a quick google and they seem way too cheap if you ask me which puts me off. I've also seen some training companies that offer training but I can't find any information about if they they are any good or not, I don't want to spend a fair bit more than a grand if the place offering it turns out to be mickey mouse.
Any help is greatly appeciated, I know there are a good few engineers here and thought it's worth a shot asking. Cheers.
