Fabio Capello's team have moved above Brazil and Argentina in the rankings, updated today, despite only reaching the last 16 in last summer's World Cup, and failing to win two of their last three qualifying matches for next summer's European Championships.

This must be FIFA11.. Even Fab look rather confussed

Does this mean that our poor world cup only has a weighting of 50%?

This has got to be a back-hander after not getting the World Cup..

This .. although you would have thought Blatter would have introduced a minus 1000 for England clause somewhere in his own set of rules.
