England team to play Wales at Twickenham on Saturday:
J Lewsey (Wasps); M Cueto (Sale Sharks), J Noon (Newcastle), M Tindall (Gloucester), B Cohen (Northampton); C Hodgson (Sale Sharks), H Ellis (Leicester); A Sheridan (Sale Sharks), S Thompson (Northampton), M Stevens (Bath); S Borthwick (Bath), D Grewcock (Bath); J Worsley (Wasps), L Moody (Leicester), M Corry (capt, Leicester).
Replacements: L Mears (Bath), J White (Leicester), S Shaw (Wasps), L Dallaglio (Wasps), M Dawson (Wasps), A Goode (Leicester), T Voyce (Wasps).

My verdict, nothing wrong with the forwards particularly, although I hope that Robinson plays some of the young up and coming back row guys at some point during the 6 Nations.

The backs though are the problem. Cueto and Cohen are too alike, bruisers. Tindall an Noon are too alike, bruisers. Hodgson is the form choice by a long way no arguments and Lewsey is a class act too. I accept Dawson is too old to build your team around but Ellis just hasn’t stepped up to the mark yet. I would have played Dawson for the Wales match then started Richards against Italy and if he did well keep him and have Dawson on the bench. Ultimately this England back line is far too conservative, other than Hodgson there are no playmakers. Simpson Daniel deserved a place in the squad and probably should have been in the centres or on the wing. The two Olly’s Smith and Barkley are missing through injury otherwise one or the other would have been a fine inside centre choice.

Basically if this is symptomatic of Robinsons thinking for the whole 6 Nations England can kiss the World Cup goodbye. No vision no chance.

i would have preferred Dawson tbh, tindall is only in due to other players being unavailable.
cueto and cohen are excellent choices tho imo.

barkley was set to be IC, but his injury has put him out.
you can tell he has spent time with mike catt, he makes a great younger version of him :]
