Personally I have to agree with some of the comments on the bottom. We have had some of the best behaved fans in the tournament yet still UEFA are looking for a chance to stick the boot in. We have had riots (Russia/Poland) brawls (Ireland) racism (Croatia) fans hurling objects at players (Germany) and very little has happened, yet, but here UEFA are taking a pop.

I would like to know more facts but it just smacks of typical anti English sentiment again. If anything like the above had happened with the English we would be out the tournament with an international ban yet very little seems to be happening about them.

Not trying to be overly dramatic with this post it is more of a great big sigh/lol at UEFA.

It wasn't even a pitch invasion either, but an 'attempted' one.

It seems extremely pathetic considering what other groups of supporters have been doing (beating each other senseless), but on the other hand our fans should be well behaved.

but on the other hand our fans should be well behaved.

Agree with this. If our fans have done something that requires punishment then that is fair enough but with all the goings on chasing a nation for an attempted pitch invasion is laughable.

UEFA are going nuts this tournament on fan behavior, Germany and the Dutch have been fined for throwing "paper missiles" onto the pitch and Russia have been docked 6 points for the qualis for the next Euro's for the violent clashes...

Hope someone points out an attempted pitch invasion isn't really a big deal

To be frank the most interesting thing to me in that article was the revelation that we won't be able to train on the pitch ahead of the final group game.

brawls (Ireland)

I can only assume you're talking about the brawls that were started by some polish headcases that initiated the attacks against virtually anyone speaking English? They also done the same with Russian fans from what ive read.

what happens domestically though? The FA charges clubs for 'not being able to control their fans' so how is the international level any different?

Just an excuse to fine the FA, they're like police go out of their way to try and fine people and keep the cash rolling in.
