because here we don't love Italy at all

Italian newspapers alredy write that England is rather easy to beat. Especially in the football Italian people are very rustic and always think that are the best. They often play rather bad but somehow they score. Even if 50000 people work in southern switzerland ( earning almost the triple than in Italy ), always have to criticize switzerland. Aparts from this thing I remember very good the coach Roy Hogdson that trained Switzerland with very good results and then I like the way of playing of England. Is that enough?

Fair enough, I usually expect most of Europe and the rest of the world to hate the English, so it surprised me that there was some reason for the Swiss to dislike Italy more.

The Daily Star is an example of the lowest tabloid excrement, and the Italian tabloids are well known as being equally low and jingoistic. If the Italian newspapers stir up the Italian fans it's only the idiots who get riled. So the gazetta.it article and comments aren't upsetting in the slightest, actually some are quite amusing:

Are you crazy? :lol: Do you even follow Italian press? Pretty sure the Italian press have been slating the Italian team, Prandelli, Balotelli etc. Mostly after the friendly lost 3-0 to Russia.

Also, if Italians criticise the Swiss its because they are neighbours, and there isn't a really good relationship between them.

With your reasoning, we will seen see threads by Irish/Scottish saying ITALY PLZ BEAT ENGLAND AND WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER OMG!!!

I'm an Italy fan, and all I can say its going to be a good match, with two teams who imo, are equal.

EDIT: Also, yes, Rooney is fat.
