Should have always been that way.
Should have always been that way.
well by the sounds of it, it will its a great idea.andy@moFo said:Disgraceful. Thought National duty was for free never knew the players were getting paid. Every game should be donated to charity.
Why shouldn't the players take their fare share of profits gained.Marvt74 said:They should do this for every game, playing for your country should be an honour.
wedgie22 said:Yes it should be an honour, but the FA generates a lot of money on the back of the England team, so why are the players not entitled to a cut?
Good that they're now going to give it to charity though.

andy@moFo said:I agree it shouldnt be given to the FA in principle. FA should cover costs and the remainder should be given to charitys. Further readings lead me to believe that the English Nation side have created a charity in which more future fees will be donated to.
I was wondering this. Do premiership (Top International players) donate some of there weekly salary to charitys on a direct debit basis..? I heard rumours at work that Steven Gerrard donates 7% of his salary to familys with disabled children or charitys that are raising for equipment/days out etc.. Anyone else heard of this?
