Anyone been watching the women's euro matches? Very good team. England have won all their rounds and right now on channel 4 they're about to start their quarter final against France. Germany are out and England are the favourites. But apparently England have never beaten France.

England have looked very good in the games I've seen of them, so I won't be surprised if they go on to win it.
Still the usual keeping ability though, it's the one area of the women's game that hasn't really made much improvement at all other than the odd exception (French keep is decent if I remember right).

I'm surprised theres no women's football thread. I've been watching the odd match and they've been pretty entertaining tbh.
iirc there was a graphic that showed our most likely route to the final where we were meant to meet Germany. Beating France tonight will put us in a very good position to go all the way so fingers crossed

I only had it on for a little bit, but I'm sure an England player should have been sent off for a reckless tackle?? Either way, the yellow means she misses the next match I think it said.

Won't be for the next match against The Netherlands.
England have been playing really well and deserve their progress so far. Was a rather wobbly spell after they took the lead and then began to panic a bit under the French pressure. But unlike the men's team they survived it and got the job done.
