I wonder if Rooney will be in the squad today. As much as Liverpool fans would love to see themselves being tanked by Chelsea today, the players will see it much differently. But there is no chance of them getting a result anyway, Chelsea have had a weeks rest and are in real dominant goal scoring form and they'll face a Liverpool team missing their star striker, and with a squad who played 120 minutes less than 3 days ago. Chelsea 3-0.

The 0-0 draw with Blackburn a few weeks ago will haunt us after this season is over.

Honestly don't think most fans will want us to lose today. We still have a slim chance of fourth and that's far more important than stopping you winning number 19.

The unfortunate thing for both Man Utd and Liverpool is that they are relying on results of other games to determine how their season finishes. Maybe most Liverpool fans won't want to lose today but they certainly won't be crying when/if it does happen. The best case scenario I can hope for, is that seeing as it's the last home game of the season at Anfield and the fans will be in good voice, that Liverpool somehow get a draw out of the game. But there's more chance of Ferguson not giving players over 35 new contracts happening than a draw at Anfield today. :p

Also, hats off to Spurs who are really fighting for 4th place, what a goal from Huddlestone to secure 3 very vital points yesterday. I hope bringing Gomes into my FF team didn't get him injured at the end of the game. :p

Wigan might beat Chelsea...right? :(

As strange as it sounds, the one team in the league right now that have nothing to play for, Portsmouth, would probably give Chelsea a better game than Liverpool and Wigan. It's why I'm looking forward to the F.A. Cup final, Portsmouth have been unpredictable in the last few weeks, that of course might end as soon as it kicks off and Chelsea hammer them in the final. :p

We're going to lose it on Wednesday. I can feel it. It's the Spurs way.

I think your forwards have lost their focus a little, only 1 goal from Defoe in the last 4 weeks, every other goal from midfield or defence. Your defence is in form, and Bale is driving the team forward with his runs, if Lennon and Gomes both start on Wednesday I'm going for a Spurs win or at the very least a draw.

Once again MOTD edit out Rooney taking a vindictive swipe at an opposition player. That's twice on the last 3 games although he did actually get a yellow this time.
He better not carry that attitude over to the WC or he'll find himself getting an early bath. WC refs wont be as tolerant of him as our homegrown guys seem to be.

Hopefully the WC referees will be able to see two fouls on a player and blow the whistle without giving players reason to kick out in frustration. Same thing happened with Rafael a few weeks ago.

Nicely done Spurs. Congratulations! Hopefully CL football awaits and you don't get knocked out in the qualification rounds. :p
