That's about the strongest team I can think of against Chelsea. The game is nearly upon us, the league's best defence vs the best attack. Looking at how many goals everyone has conceded, Spurs are right up there with Chelsea and Man Utd. I find it amazing that we've conceded the fewest considering our defensive injuries and VDS missing half the season.

Berbatov, Fletcher, Park (lol) and Giggs all missing today. Being completely dominated in midfield, Chelsea retain perfect formation when they don't have possession and eagerly closing down each and every Man Utd player when they have the ball. Can't complain about the scoreline at half time. Something needs to be drastically changed for the second half. I'm getting incredibly tired of reckless challenges from Scholes and Neville, time after time they do it and usually in needless situations as well.

The two legitimate penalty calls, Park and Anelka should have been given. Although Park's would definitely have been the softer of the two. I think another possible transfer this summer would be to prize Arsenal's passing coach away from London because we sure as hell need to remind our midfield how to pass the ball. :p

I love this from Man U fans week in, week out, anything that doesn't go perfectly and they all know better than Fergie... the greatest manager they've ever had :D

Well to be honest, usually when things don't go right it blatantly highlights the weaknesses on the field. That first half was shocking and I don't have to be a football manager to know that. :p

Lost to the best team on the day, yet again changes were made too late into the game. Berbatov can **** right off this summer to some team who will cart him round the pitch in a buggy.

Just looked up our results after Champions League games this season:

After our first Wolfsburg game, we drew 2-2 at home against Sunderland with a 94th minute own goal from Anton Ferdinand.

After our first CSKA Moscow game, we lose at Anfield 2-0.

After our second CSKA Moscow game, we lost at Stamford Bridge.

After our second Wolfsburg game, we lost at home against Villa 1-0.

After the first Milan game, we lose against 3-1 against Everton.

After our first Bayern Munich game, we lose against Chelsea.

Each one of those performances we did nowhere near enough to secure a proper draw nevermind a win. We've gone back in time to 2003-05 when we barely got points after a Champions League game.

That was fun :)

Oh dear, even by his standards this is funny

"typical Germans" :p

the 2nd yellow could have gone either way, then again the first one may have even been red

They will have no choice, prob won't bother him though

it was a foul but retaliation is a red card offence

dunno, missed parts of game so didn't see that, there was no discussion of it at end of game though

why is it convenient ? I haven't been at home for all the game

or could you be suggesting that I am not being honest ?

How the **** had the old soak got away with last nights comments ?

That is very true but it doesn't mean you can go saying it :p

Nice to see you're not obsessed or anything... (and this certainly isn't the first thread where you talk about Man Utd ahead of Liverpool).

stunning goal :)

Oh you do post about your own team occasionally...

You've still not updated your sig btw. :p

No just something I've noticed these last few years. Posting about Man Utd and Ferguson during Liverpool matches, stuff like that. :p
