I wonder if the Burnley fans will be booing Terry as much if he scores a header like that to win us the World Cup...

Whole different mindset watching international football. What did you want them to do, cheer him after scoring the winning goal against them?

Both teams need to win today to keep up with Chelsea, anything other than a win for either team is as good as a loss. A draw is even worse overall giving Chelsea more ground to put between the teams.

Extremely disappointed to not see Valencia start, bit of a joke to be honest. And Park... jesus don't get me started. I'm going to make a conscious effort to count how many times we lose possession because of him.

Arshavin what a greedy git, if he'd passed that to Fabregas it would be 1-0 Arsenal.

Song was only booked then due to Nani's reaction. 50/50 tackle and unluckily Nani came out of it worse, rolls about on the floor as if he's been shot and gets Song booked for it.

It was a foul, over the top of the ball and stood on Nani's foot.

What is Park's purpose in this match? It certainly isn't defensive or attacking.

:D Lovely goals. Rooney and Nani love playing Arsenal.

Park needs to come off, he's not doing anything. Bring Giggs on please.

Absolutely fantastic result, Rooney is in top form and shape right now. We are starting to kick into gear for the final few months of the season. Lovely run and finish from Park, very composed. Big improvement in the second half from him.

No you can't :p

Sometimes there's nothing you can do. A lot of the time you can have small complaints about defending, like your 2nd goal today; Denilson didn't track Rooney's run. I think the 'Nani goal' was worse than that; both Clichy and Nasri (more so Nasri) just stepped out of Nani's way and it was real weak goalkeeping from Almunia.

No Baz, going by your previous comment there is always something you can do, ie, a keeper gets chipped, he should have been on the line, etc etc.

Are you telling me Torres' lovely goal against Blackburn last season shouldn't have happened if the defender got between Torres and the ball? Or was it just a moment of brilliance like Nani's today? :p

Why does Rio keep appealing :(. He obviously did it, just take the punishment like a man

It's the club not Rio.

When fully fit there isn't a better defender in the game, sadly this injury and it's secondary effect on his back has hounded him for 18 months, he's lost a little strength and pace because of it (which he will get back if he can get over it), but his composure and distribution have never suffered (aside from those awesome back-passes in back-to-back games a while back :p), even when he came back from 3 months out against City last week his quality showed.

Good to see you back dude. :)

imo he should have been sent off against City but meh

Nah. :p

Well whatever happened he isn't a Man Utd player so I expect it'll get brushed under the carpet and instead, Rio will get two more games added.

Oh, and Evra will get a 3 match ban for it too. ;)

He won't get anything as the idiot referee gave him a yellow and you know how the F.A. can't do anything if a referee has seen something.... or maybe not as they keeping changing how they interpret their own rules. He hit McShane cutting him open, I'm surprised there's been no fuss about it then again he doesn't play in red.
