It's only really been given average ratings but man I love it. The gameplay is just like Phantasy Star Online. I think the reason it's been put down is I've read that earlier KOF games were RTS and people were expecting more RTS and not an Action RPG. I'm finding it very addictive.

Way too repetitive imo. Mostly poor graphics and animations. Combat system sucks. Didn't like it much.

Is it anything like Ninety Nine Nights?

It's just that while N3 was pretty, it really just turned into a "press button x 1000000 times." It was so shallow I wouldn't even get it in a bargain bin.

I got bored with it after about half an hour, initially i quite enjoyed it, but the repetition really bored me.

Its like Ninety Nine Nights but less fun.
