Anyone got an opinion on the strength/build quality of Enkei wheels?

I'm after a lightweight alloy, and I've found someone selling a set, but after recently finding out that Rota wheels are crap, I'm after some opinion on Enkei before I spend the cash. Not much info on them, they don't seem to feature much outside of Japan.

Experiences/info appriciated!

Enkei make the wheels on the standard EP3 (previous shape CTR) and a pretty well regarded in the tuning scene for lightweight alloys.

Rota's are crap? that's lame...I've been pining over some GTR Drifts for the MR2.

Ouch....at £1000 per set I wouldn't call them cheap knock offs!
Do you know any other wheels that look like the Rota Drifts?

multi fitment wheels always look cheap and crap, its like they have been attacked by a shotgun, several times........

If you look closely at those and the wheel I posted you can see some of the holes are actually counter sunk. Which are the the ones used for fitting.. The others are just holes. Possibly for weight saving as Clarkey has pointed out. :)

I've got a set of Enkei's and they're good quality alloys. Light, strong and good looking! Can't ask for more.

FYI Enkei used to (or maybe still do) made the wheels for the McLaren F1 team amongst others.

VW Lupo. I'm after some lightweight wheels, and the Enkei come in even lighter than OZ Superleggera's or Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2

According to what I've read, 15" Enkei ES-Tarmac weigh in at 4.9kgs a piece...thats not much at all!

*Edit - I don't care what they look like on the car, its all about the unsprung weight!
