Enough grunt for a media HTPC?

I need a box to put under telly to play my movies and music will this be powerfull enough for 1080p? would like to leave on all day ie 6am- 11pm with not to much noise and power draw this be ok?
Booting of xmbc off the memory stick, will be using homeplugs as connection for it.

Yep, it'll work - However I have no experience of whether the 24p Intel IGP / XBMC has been fixed or not.

Power wise, you'll be surprised at how little you need to play 1080p

I used my spare system which is a Celeron to play back a MKV HI-DEF movie without issue using the onboard GPU.

Also have a look at the AMD Trinity 2 APU'S.
