Enough power for a second 780?

Hey Guys, recently got a new rig with a 780 Lightning. Love the card but at 1440p it can dip below 40fps in very demanding games with everything on highest settings. I want to add a second 780 but I'm not sure on 2 things...

1. Should I just get a stock 780 as its only a second card or get another lighting?

2. Is this PSU enough to power another 780 stock or lightning?

OCZ ZX Series 850W

Any advice much appreciated :)

850 should be more than enough for 2 x 780s as long as you don't overvolt them....and your not running something like a AMD 9590 CPU

Non overclocked they would be 500w together. leaving 350 for the rest. An i7 ivy or haswell only pulls ~ 70 watts even when overclocked so loads of headroom.

If you get a stock card your lightning will be limited to the maximum clock speed that the stock card can do (so if your Lightning runs at 1150Mhz and your stock runs at 1090Mhz then both will be limited to 1090Mhz). So if funds allow then I'd go for another Lightning.

Also your power supply will be fine :)

Edit: Also, Lightnings run cooler and quieter.
