Enough power?

I have the following system:

Asus p5q pro
e2180 @ 2.8ghz
1xdvd drive
1x f3 1tb hdd
1x 4850

will my enermax liberty 620W provide enough juice for another 4850 in crossfire?

im guessing it will, it says on the box it supports crossfire and i cant imagine my system uses much power in other stuff..

As Jony27 says, the CPU is going to bottleneck that big time.

maybe, try getting a second hand Q6600 and overclock that.

you recon a q6600 is a wiser move then?.. wouldn't be a terrible idea seen as i will be doing a fair bit of cad work..

Yes, good move. Most will get in the region of 3.6Ghz with adequate cooling.

you could get a intel core 2 quad cause that chip is a socket 775 if your motherboard supports it, which will be a massive boost to your system and you may not need another graphics card in sli.
