Hey guys,

Putting together another water cooled PC and just wanted to check if it'll be running with enough radiator capacity?

CPU - Intel Core Ultra 7 265K
GPU - AMD Radeon 6950 XT

Radiators:

1 x 360mm x 44mm
2 x 240mm X 44mm

Will it need any more as I know the AMD 6950 XT runs very hot and I'm toying with the idea to change the 2 x 240mm rads to 360mm's?

Thanks :)

Should be plenty

Though if you already possess the extra
360mm radiators
Never hurts to over spec on the radiators
For lower fan rpm
And future proofing

If not already got the 360mm rads
Then wouldn't spend money
And go with 360mm, 240mm x 2

There is no simple rule for radiators, depends on the size, fin density etc etc.. also the speeds you are going to run the fans BUT I usually calculate 100 to 120W per 120mm rad... so If I had to cool 300 to 360W I would use at least a 360.

I think you will be fine with yours, but I like to use quick disconnects on my loops, so if I need more radiators I can put them later without draining the loop

Those two are capable of pulling around 500W of power, more if you leave turbo mode on for the CPU which can ramp it up another 100ish watts.

You'd probably be fine without the second 240mm to be honest, but as mentioned it never hurts to over spec a little in that regard if you've room and don't mind the added faff.

The 6950XT undervolts well too last I checked, you should be able to reduce power/heat a fair chunk with minimal to no performance loss.

Something not to he overlooked is what tue radiators are placed inside of. If the case isn't very airflowy then the radiators won't get much flow of air. It will he better than air cooling but still have potential for better performance.

Yeah would hope
Most people in the watercooling section
Should know the importance
Of airflow

Though I kind of dont think of aio
As watercooled pc lol
But yeah custom loop guys would expect them
To know

I remove dust filters
And pci slot covers too
Luckily doesn't get very dusty in here
And pc isn't on the floor either
