Enpire total war graphics proplem

running a 4890 playing on ultra settings very smooth but i get the graphics flashing all the time using windows 7 never happend with my old 8800gts.

I get the odd flashing problem with Win 7 and an Nvidia 275 here. It's not constant but from time to time a particular part of the terrain will distract me with sparklies. Have you tried turning HDR off?

soughted i had to put the graphics down to balanced in ati tools.
