Enta.net and online gaming...

I've finally ditched Virgin ADSL in favor of Tital ADSL (an enta reseller.) I've got the 30B/300GB package, as I don't really want to go over £20/month. My question is how much bandwidth would I use up just from my online gaming of on average an hour or 2 a day? I'm really concerned about running over the 30GB limit.

I play ET:QW and WOW

Not sure on an exact figure but I believe it is very small amount... Nothing of any noticeable hit to your cap

If you just surf and game, you should be fine, im sure Titan have an account page where you can login to check your usage, but you would need to ask them about it.

) I do lot of gaming (bout 3 hours a day) online and I also download large files often and also this connection is used by 6 other light users and I very rarely go over my limit (45/300). Most ive seen used at peak is about 30gb.

Hope you are going to enjoy it, and if your line can handle it get interleaving off!

If titanadsl is a entanet reseller then yet it will, if not then no.

i go no wear near my limit, only thing to watch is when you download demo, and addon, just do them before you go bed, at 10 and will mostly be done by 11, 8 meg very fast, about 2.5gig an hour, so can use all your peak bandwith for gamming

You'll never go over the cap online gaming, probably not even get close to it.

I'm feeling a bit better about this now. I've not had a capped data usage since about 1994 and I used to go over it all the time - now that I'm the one paying the bills I certainly don't want to have to pay that bit extra!
