Entanet Users

already posted in the thread on TBB. :p works well. thanks. :)

edit: found a little problem. now this doesn't affect me because i have your gadget at the bottom of my sidebar....... but look what happens if i move it up. there's quite a large gap between it and the gadget below. is this caused by the handle at the side that appears when you hover over it?? can anything be done about that? :)

Nice little tool for nothing ,saves me using enta tool :)
@ marc2003 mines the same gap wise not a big problem really but its not just your tool bar.

@marc and Doug, the issue with the gap is due to the widget being smaller than a widget should be, nothing I can do I'm afraid, the only options are to remove the settings, or make the checker bigger. If you desperately want one that'll be smaller, email me, and I'll do you one without settings.

Ok, we now have Usage monitoring!

You can grab the latest version from the usual place. - Please make sure you read the page properly for instructions on how to get your usage monitoring working. (It's really not that difficult).

If you like the small, simple version, do not upgrade. If you don't have the old version, and would still prefer one without the bandwidth monitor, you can still download 1.0.0.2 at the Gadgets home page.

An option to switch the visibility of the Usage monitor may be available in later releases.

any chance of fixing the text display being cut off if your "bar" is too small. even the screenshot on your own page is affected by this. :p

edit: image removed- has been fixed.

thanks for all the effort so far.

is there anything similiar for win xp?

According to a member over on ThinkBroadband, it is possible to get sidebar working under xp.

It's also possible that this could be ported to Yahoo Widgets, perhaps it's something I'll look into, in the future, but I doubt it'd be used.

hi there, is there any way to change which central pipe your on? is it a case of reseting the router until u get one or not worth it?

Don't keep resetting your router, there is no need, and if done 5-10 times in an hour it can cause a target snr increase, which can lead to a lower sync.

Instead, log in to your router, and see if you can just disconnect/reconnect the ppp session (Usually just "Disconnect/Connect")

But, fundamentally yes, you cannot choose which central you are on, it operates on a 'round-robin' system, so one person connects and gets Central 1, the next gets Central 2 and so on (may be a different order).

So it's really just a case of cycling your ppp connection until you hit the central you want. However, I've not seen a need to do so for a while now, I've now been on Cental 1 for about 2 weeks, and never seen a need to hop.
